Hi there,
I’m Elisa, an Italian storyteller raised between the canals of Venice and the hills of northeast Italy, with deep roots in the Amalfi Coast and a new chapter unfolding in the South West of the United States.
With a background in art history, cultural management, and digital marketing, I’ve always explored how stories, traditions and aesthetics shape our world.
I created Bites not just because I travel often , but because I believe travel is one of the most human things we do.
Since ancient times, people have moved to discover, to trade, to connect, to grow. Somewhere along the way, tourism lost some of that magic.
This blog is my way of returning to the essence of travel: through stories, traditions, flavors, and reflections, Bites invites you to rediscover the world more slowly and consciously.
Here, you’ll find snapshots of lesser-known destinations, thoughts on how to travel more sustainably, guides for cultural immersion, and yes, a few bites of global cuisine too.
But this is not a travel checklist. It’s a space to connect across borders and beyond clichés.
At the heart of Bites is a deep respect for cultures, people, and place. I believe in the power of storytelling to bridge gaps, challenge assumptions, and remind us that travel is not consumption but participation.
This blog is just the beginning: soon, Bites will grow into curated travel experiences for those who want to explore with depth and intention.
Until then: grab a bite, take your time, and let’s wander together.
